From My Home to Yours

Amalgam Kitchen is a resource for you, focusing primarily on recipe and lifestyle content. Recipes are original, adapted and sometimes I share other cooks and chefs food as well. Amalgam Kitchen focuses on delicious and healthy food meant to nourish you. Low-sugar, gluten and grain free, and mostly plant based, although every now and again I will sprinkle in dishes which include eggs, fish, poultry and maybe some red meat ingredients as well. This site is not a vegan website. It is mostly plant based because this is how me and my family eat and I believe mostly plant based keeps inflammation down, disease at bay and an over all sense of wellness. I share with you what I have learned over the years. This site started out as a food lifestyle site but now more than ever, being healthy and incorporating food as medicine and making holistic choices in all aspects of life is integral to our well being.

Not only do I share my love and passion of food but also want to share my other interests and ways of living too.  So in my blog tab, you will find all sorts of fun lifestyle content On the blog you find my Musings where I will explore everything from parenthood, relationships and beyond. In Lifestyle you will learn about my favorite beauty and body care tips, sustainable and conscientious fashion brands, my gift guides, home ware and more. In A Visit With… I will be highlighting local farmers, artisans, craftspeople and small business and share the great ways they are doing things to make a difference. And In The Kitchen, as you can imagine, I focus on, well, all things kitchen and cooking.

 My hopes is to share my creativity, my lifestyle inspiration and nourishment for you and your family, from my heart, kitchen and home to yours.
