Velvety Hemp Milk

This hemp milk is more than creamy, it is velvety and silky. The two things which make it so are 1) The Cap Beauty Daily The Coconut Butter , which is a 100% stone ground, next level in texture and taste coconut butter. The fat from the coconut butter makes this milk last in the fridge for an epically long time, up to 7 days. 2) And using Ellie’s Best Nut Milk bags , which every time yield, the perfect pulp-free nut milk. I use either, the Pro Quality Nut Milk bag or the Organic Nut Milk bag. Either way you get a 10% discount with the code AMALGAM10 for the next year. This nut milk is smooth, fresh and neutral tasting, so it is great in smoothies, especially my upcoming Hemp Probiotic Strawberry Smoothie but really can be used in any smoothie. Hemp seeds are high in protein and known to reduce cholesterol, blood pressure and triglycerides. If you want it less sweet, omit the stevia all together.

Makes about 4.5 cups/ 1065 ml / Preparation time 15 minutes

Gather

1 cup/ 220 g hemp seeds

4 cups/ 946 ml water

1 teaspoon /4.929 ml vanilla extract

2 tablespoons / 28 g Cap Beauty Daily coconut butter or other coconut butter

Pinch salt

6 drops stevia

Make

Place all ingredients into the container of a blender. Process on high for two minutes. Place the nut milk bag over a large bowl and pour the mixture into a nut milk bag. Twist the bag closed, so the mixture does not pour out backwards and kneed the bag till barely any liquid comes out. Pour the hemp milk into a large pourable glass container and store in the fridge up to 7 days.
